Job Title: Multimedia Specialist - Audio Visual Technologist

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Multimedia Specialist - Audio Visual Technologist to join our team at Unified Business Technologies Inc. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your technical expertise and passion for audio-visual systems to support dynamic training initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all audio-visual equipment is in top working condition, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, and display devices.
  • Provide daily on-site operational and sustainment support for installed classroom audiovisual equipment.
  • Utilize ticketing systems to capture workload and maintain accurate records.
  • Document shipping and receiving of repair parts and provide status reporting of daily activities.
  • Collaborate with customers to determine audiovisual requirements and coordinate logistics for equipment installation.
  • Test systems prior to presentations and ensure high-quality sound reproduction.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum Associate's Degree in a related field or three years of technically related experience in providing audiovisual support.
  • InfoComm International Certification in Audio Visual Technology (minimum) or an equivalent certification.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills.
