Tour Guide

Polynesian Adventure Tours is a premier operator of sightseeing tours and private transportation in the Hawaiian islands. We offer a wide range of tours to popular destinations, including Haleakala and Road to Hana on Maui, Pearl Harbor and the Battleship USS Missouri on Oahu, and Volcanoes National Park on Hawai`i Island.

We are seeking energetic and positive Step-On Guides/Narrator Ambassadors to present interesting and factual information about Hawaii's history, language, culture, and significant sites. As a Step-On Guide, you will be responsible for greeting passengers, assisting those with special needs, and providing a high level of customer service.

• Greet passengers and assist those with special needs or requests.
• Load passengers onto the bus by following established safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of PAX count, arrival time, and baggage counts.
• Maintain constant communication with Drivers and Base Dispatch on any changes and/or discrepancies to the schedule, arrival, etc.
• Present tour narration relevant and appropriate to tour routing.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Report all required information to Dispatch in a timely manner.
• Review motorcoach safety protocols with guests.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) year of customer service or hospitality experience required; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position.
