Regional Sales Leader

Position Summary:
The Regional Sales Leader is accountable for developing independent account business, focusing on enhancing profitability through both new client acquisition and deepening existing relationships.
This role involves promoting and selling company-branded products while achieving sales targets.Additionally, the position may support customer service initiatives for regional and national chain clients, thereby boosting the company's visibility in the market and maximizing market share.
As a collaborative team member, you will perform various duties to best serve the organization.Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth by analyzing sales territories and customer needs; engage with current and prospective clients through product sampling; devise comprehensive sales strategies, including time and territory management; and conduct impactful sales presentations.
- Continuously enhance sales and profit margins to meet established objectives.- Establish new customer accounts by determining pricing structures; collaborate with the Credit Department for initial approvals; and coordinate with other personnel for order processing and delivery scheduling.
- Conduct follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction with deliveries and products.- Provide exemplary customer service by closely working with other team members to address and resolve any issues.
- In emergency situations, you may be responsible for making deliveries.- Expand business with existing customers through product penetration to maximize account profitability.
- Monitor accounts for compliance with credit terms to minimize receivable issues.
- Stay informed about pricing trends within the sales territory, particularly for market-driven and commodity products, to maintain competitive pricing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required
- 6-12 months of experience in sales, marketing, or the restaurant industry
- Valid Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Candidates must reside within a 20-mile radius of the sales territory; no relocation assistance available.
