Job Description:

The College of Charleston Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position. We are seeking a candidate with expertise in applied mathematics, particularly in numerical analysis. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, direct student research, and contribute to the department's research agenda. A Ph.D. in mathematics or a mathematical science is required by the employment start date. A complete application must include a cover letter, curriculum vita, teaching philosophy, current and projected research agenda, and at least three letters of recommendation.
