Dietary Therapist

Job Summary:

HC&N Healthcare Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring that medical nutritional therapy is assessed, implemented, and monitored for all residents in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, resident care plans, and appropriate regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nutritional assessments within 24 hours and complete them within 7 days.
• Observe meal service in the main dining room and other congregate dining areas as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must hold certifications or licensure required by the state.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

Staff Development Functions:

• Conduct, attend, and participate in in-service education for all staff related to resident nutritional status and facility practices.
• Be familiar and adhere to federal/state/company regulations.
• Oversee the kitchen.
