POSITION OVERVIEW
The Residential Cleaning Specialist will oversee and manage all daily and periodic cleaning tasks within the apartments managed by Murphy Oil. This includes general cleaning duties, tenant support, and inventory management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility and shared spaces.
- Prepare rooms for new occupants, which involves sanitizing, disinfecting, changing linens, washing dishes, and thoroughly cleaning kitchen appliances.
- Perform floor maintenance including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures to ensure a pristine environment.
- Clean windows and restock restroom supplies as necessary.
- Address and remove stains caused by spills promptly.
- Collect and dispose of waste as required.
- Assist tenants with their needs when necessary.
- Wash, dry, and fold linens as required.
- Ensure proper cleaning of upholstered furniture.
- Maintain accurate records and correspondence, prepare reports, and submit purchase requests.
- Manage supplies and accounts, liaise with vendors, and prepare inventory reports on cleaning supplies.
- Foster positive working relationships with staff.
- Monitor and report any unusual conditions related to the building, HVAC, or lighting systems.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Assist with corporate events as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty effectively.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with specialized training or on-the-job education in a relevant skill area, such as clerical work or equipment operation, and a minimum of two years of related experience or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
