Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist at University Dental Associates, you will play a vital role in supporting the success of our office and delivering top-notch oral health care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform licensed hygiene procedures, including adult and child prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, sealants, and fluoride treatments.
  • Educate patients on their unique oral health needs and desires, promoting preventative-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, ensuring seamless communication with the administrative team.
  • Partner with the administrative team to schedule appointments and ensure efficient office operations.
Requirements:
  • Current state license to practice dental hygiene.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to educate patients effectively.
  • Desire to embrace preventative-centered care and deliver exceptional patient experiences.
  • Ability to perform all hygiene clinical procedures, including those mentioned above.
  • Maintenance of annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control trainings as required by law.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
