Key Responsibilities

  • Document treatment records accurately and thoroughly, ensuring compliance with radiation oncology billing and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncology coders to review treatment documentation and billing for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly treatment environment, adhering to department protocols and policies.
  • Perform warm-up and calibration checks of equipment as necessary, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Ensure the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Post-high school vocational/specialized training in an accredited Radiation Therapy Education Program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment.
