Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our team at Collins Aerospace. As a Procurement Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our procurement processes, standards, and operational strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFQs, spreadsheet preparations, and cost analysis.
  • Respond to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Review purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization's best interest.
  • Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.
  • Interact with suppliers and possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ensure product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and ensures that PO's are updated with current due dates.
Requirements
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here.
  • Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior ERP and/or Procurement experience is preferred.
  • Looking for a motivated team player.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop long-lasting relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Supply Chain processes.
  • Work independently, remain calm under pressure.
