Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive software maintenance and engineering support under the Foundation Sustainment Services contract.
  • Delivering corrective, adaptive, preventive, and perfective maintenance, which includes debugging, workflow management, and the identification and placement of alerts and alarms.
  • Implementing automated deployment methods for existing or newly identified services, including Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) products, as well as custom code and software developed by the Government.

Required Qualifications:
  • CLEARANCE: TS/SCI CI Poly
  • A Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficient understanding of microservice system integration, particularly with Appian.
  • Extensive knowledge of systems and database integration.
  • Experience with Python, Tomcat, Linux, Windows, and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with both proprietary and open-source GIS applications and database services, such as ESRI and PostGIS (PostgreSQL).
  • Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Proven track record in delivering software maintenance solutions using Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in integrating software (COTS, GOTS, FOSS) into a cohesive operational baseline.
  • Knowledge of integrating security components with applications and databases.
  • Understanding of Configuration Management and the Request for Change process for review and assessment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Appian and OpenShift.
  • Familiarity with integrating Framemaker into applications.
  • DevOps experience, particularly with GitLab.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
