About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Quality Talent Group. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the therapy teams and Rehab Department to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and document all necessary information.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that support patients' communication and assessment needs.
  • Provide speech therapy services as outlined in treatment plans and prescriptions.
  • Offer treatments that improve patients' speech and/or dysphagia and overall ability to communicate.
  • Manage workflow independently, including allocating time for treatment documentation and notes in the electronic records system.
  • Familiarize yourself with PDPM and SLP screening.
  • Align therapy treatments and plans with an understanding of Medicaid and Medicare billing.
Requirements
  • New Jersey SLP License.
  • Background and experience in long-term care, specifically in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage patients with different personalities and ability levels.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
