Laser Machinist

Job Summary:

Enjet Aero is a leading manufacturer of complex jet engine parts, components, and assemblies for the commercial, defense, and general aviation sectors. We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate computer numerical control (CNC) laser cutting machines to produce precision parts and components.
• Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations and quality standards.
• Perform minor edits of laser programs and tooling setup per work instructions.
• Inspect completed parts using precision measuring tools and maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System.
• Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisor.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staff.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred.
• Working knowledge of laser equipment, tooling, and processes.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity.
• Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
