Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including making beds, changing linens, and cleaning guest rooms and common areas.
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as industrial-type powered scrubbers and buffers, to clean floors and other surfaces.
  • Use specialized cleaning solutions and equipment to sanitize and disinfect surfaces and equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to safety regulations and standards.
  • Report any workplace hazards or incidents to the supervisor, and participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training in a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field, with a focus on customer service and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working Conditions:

This position requires frequent standing, bending, stooping, and lifting, as well as exposure to strong cleaning solutions and equipment. The work environment is typically indoors, with occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
