About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality medical care to patients in our busy OBGYN department. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, collection of vital signs, and gathering of medical history.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient preferences and goals.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies.
- Administer medications and treatments, as prescribed by attending physicians.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to manage their health effectively.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring timely and secure access to information.
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Current certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BCLS), and other relevant specialties.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
