The Preschool Prep Cook is a vital member of our culinary team at The Learning Experience, responsible for preparing and managing nutritious meals for our students. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality food services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage kitchen duties and coordinate food orders to ensure seamless meal preparation and service.
- Prepare and cook meals in compliance with safety practices and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Order food supplies and kitchen equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked and efficient kitchen.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Background in food preparation and proven work experience in a kitchen setting.
- Hands-on experience with executing a menu and ordering ingredients, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
- Food Handlers Certificate, with a focus on maintaining a high level of food safety and quality.
