IT Director

Gecko Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Information Technology to lead our technology initiatives at a prestigious luxury resort in Sedona, Arizona.

This unique opportunity allows you to shape the technological landscape of a world-renowned destination known for its commitment to wellness, tranquility, and adventure. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations, enhancing guest experiences, and driving innovation within our sophisticated IT infrastructure.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the resort's vision and objectives, encompassing platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor for the resort, providing expert guidance and support to guests and staff on all IT-related matters.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust and secure technology infrastructure that meets industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to PCI and PII compliance protocols to mitigate risks and protect sensitive data.
• Create and deliver engaging training programs for resort staff on various IT systems and applications.
• Represent the resort in professional IT organizations and meetings, fostering strong relationships with industry peers and vendors.

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in an IT leadership role, with extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN networks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft infrastructure services, server systems, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with TCP IP, MS Exchange, MS ISA, group policy, and hospitality-specific systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities.
