Float Cast Specialist

Our team is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our patients, and we are seeking like-minded individuals to join our team as Cast Technicians Float.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Applying and removing casts, splints, dressings, sutures, and staples to patients following the provider's instruction
• Assisting with basic DME fitting
• Maintaining appropriate levels of casting supplies
• Keeping cast rooms fully stocked and ensuring that the rooms are cleaned after each patient
• Facilitating patient flow and assisting provider and clinic staff with coordination of patient care
• Educating patients and their caregivers regarding specific care related to casts, splints, dressings, sutures, and staples

The ideal candidate will have one year of medical assisting or casting experience and be able to travel between all ORA clinic locations in Iowa and Illinois. Flexibility to work some evenings and Saturdays is required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• One year of medical assisting or casting experience is strongly preferred
• The ability to travel between all ORA clinic locations in both Iowa and Illinois is required
