We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures on patients, utilizing your expertise to provide high-quality images and contribute to accurate diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound procedures on patients, adhering to radiological standards and hospital policies.
- Verify patient and procedure information to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate patient care and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging techniques and technologies.
- Associate degree in Radiology or related field.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) certification.
- Four years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
