Key Responsibilities
  • Material Pulling: Accurately pull raw materials and components required for plunger production based on job orders and production schedules.
  • Delivery to Machines: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to the appropriate machines and workstations, supporting seamless production operations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by recording material usage, monitoring stock levels, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Documentation: Ensure all material transactions are accurately documented in the inventory management system, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.
  • Quality Control: Inspect materials for any damage or defects before delivering them to the production floor, ensuring only high-quality materials are used.
  • Coordination with Production Team: Work closely with the production team to understand their material needs and priorities, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the material storage and production preparation areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Support Production: Assist with other tasks related to the production of plungers as needed, including loading and unloading materials and components.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards, ensuring all material handling activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or production support preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Ability to read and understand job orders and material lists.
  • Competency in operating material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform tasks that involve physical exertion.
