About the Job:
We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Education Assistant to join our team at one of our partner schools in the Detroit metro area. As an Early Childhood Education Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the education and care of young children in a Kindergarten/2nd Grade classroom setting.

Salary: $16.50-$17.50 per hour

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with 60 college credits completed in any subject or a passing score on the ETS ParaPro Assessment. Previous experience working in a school or with elementary-age children is highly desirable.

You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of students. Your duties will include setting up and maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment, implementing daily lesson plans, documenting student progress, and supporting parent involvement through various activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and maintain a safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
  • Implement daily lesson plans based on individual students' needs.
  • Maintain program documentation on students and families.
  • Support and encourage parent involvement through various activities.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
