Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a culture of excellence and compassion.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective patient care in the Cardiac Stepdown Unit
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor patient hemodynamic status, respond to changes in condition, and communicate with the healthcare team
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements
  • Current RN license in Alabama or Compact State
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum one year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital setting
  • Ability to float to two or more units and maintain competency
