Job Summary

UCHealth is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join our team at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will provide direct patient care under the delegation and/or supervision of a nurse/healthcare provider. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and are looking for a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including gathering vital signs, measuring blood glucose, and measuring intake and output.
  • Assist patients with personal care, activities of daily living, and progressive mobility.
  • Assist to keep care area stocked, cleaned, and orderly.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
