Overview:
The RN on 6 North is tasked with the responsibility and accountability for evaluating patient and family health concerns and resources. This role involves taking a leadership position in the planning, execution, and assessment of the nursing care plan delivered by the nursing team. The RN will provide specialized nursing care and interventions to a specific patient demographic. In accordance with the Department's Scope of Practice, this role necessitates delivering services to Medical-Surgical patients aged eighteen and older, demonstrating an understanding of the functional and developmental age of the individuals served. This position requires full comprehension and active engagement in fulfilling the Mission of CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. It is anticipated that the associate will exhibit behavior aligned with the Core Values. The associate is expected to support the strategic objectives of CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini's Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Qualifications:
- Preferred one year of nursing experience.
- Current Louisiana RN License is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary.
