Job Overview

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A Regional to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a Regional Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations across the southern United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, laws, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating safety hazards, maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Loading and unloading freight, or assisting in the loading/unloading process as required
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check
  • Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid Class A CDL and necessary endorsements
  • 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years, or 2 years of experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years of experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
