Electronic Assembly Technician Position in Cleanroom Environment

Aerotek is currently seeking an experienced Electronic Assembly Technician to join our team in a cleanroom environment. This role involves repetitive assembly of electronic and mechanical components, working within a controlled area to build medical devices.
The ideal candidate will have proficient soldering skills, including the ability to work with micro circuit boards. Additionally, they should be comfortable using hand or power tools such as needle-nose pliers, side cutters, and soldering irons.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine sub-assembly and final assembly on printed circuit boards per defined procedures
- Soldering through-hole and SMT components in specified locations with high accuracy
- Communicating with Line Leaders to plan and review work activities and resolve production problems
This position requires strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to read Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other written instructions. Basic PC skills, including Windows applications, are also necessary.
