Countertop Fabricator

Job Summary

Artisan Millwork LLC is seeking a skilled Countertop Installer to join our team. As a Countertop Installer, you will be responsible for installing natural and man-made stone countertops in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in granite and quartz installation, be able to read and translate drawings and diagrams, and possess problem-solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install natural and man-made stone countertops in residential and commercial settings.
• Read and translate drawings and diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
• Identify and troubleshoot fabricating issues to ensure high-quality work.
• Perform quality inspections of finished products to maintain Artisan Millwork LLC's quality standards.
• Exercise critical thinking to ensure jobs are completed promptly and according to company standards.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
• Fix issues as they arise on-site.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Prefer experience in granite and quartz installation.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be willing to learn new skills and become cross-trained in different areas of shop work.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Be physically able to lift, push, and pull more than 150 lbs.
• Be able to stand, sit, walk, move, squat, walk, or climb for long periods of time.
• Be able to operate heavy equipment (forklifts and cranes) a plus.
• Have a positive attitude with a dedication to high-quality work and craftsmanship.
• Be able to meet strict deadlines with limited supervision.

Payment and Schedule

• Pay: $30.00 per hour.
• Payment frequency: 1099 contract, paid per project, paid weekly.
• Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, overtime, weekends as needed.
