Position Overview

A leading biotechnology firm is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to conduct microbiological and analytical testing on in-process materials and various stages of pharmaceutical products. This role will be performed with minimal oversight while adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to support the ongoing production of both commercial and clinical therapeutics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct protein analysis using Bradford and UV Absorbance techniques.
  • Evaluate enzyme activity and perform endotoxin testing.
  • Quantify bioburden and execute HPLC and Total Organic Carbon analyses.
  • Manage test sample throughput and monitor laboratory supplies.
  • Prepare necessary reagents for testing procedures.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM
  • Eligible for shift differential compensation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field.
  • 0-3 years of laboratory experience; experience in Quality Control is preferred.
  • Efficiently manage the receipt and processing of incoming samples.
  • Execute microbiological and analytical methods in compliance with cGMP standards.
  • Participate in general housekeeping and maintenance activities within the laboratory.

Compensation

  • Salary range: $46,592 - $58,240
