Outpatient Counselor

Under the direct supervision of the Day/Outpatient Clinical Supervisor, the Outpatient Counselor provides individual counseling for personal development and implements program activities for outpatient, day treatment, and aftercare clients. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to produce effective treatment plans and updates, as well as perform appropriate discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual counseling for personal development
- Implement program activities for outpatient, day treatment, and aftercare clients
- Develop and update treatment plans
- Perform discharge planning
- Certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) or an advanced clinical degree in human services
- Two years direct work experience in substance use disorder treatment services
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
