Job Summary

Dependable Staffing Agency CA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. As an LVN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing basic hygiene and nursing care, and collecting information regarding patient status.
  • Document patient care and treatment in the approved format, noting and carrying out physician's orders.
  • Assist with therapeutic measures and treatments, clean and maintain equipment, and obtain specimens for diagnostic testing as ordered.
  • Participate in the training of patients in activities of daily living and assist in routine treatments.
  • Document in the patient health record the nursing care and treatment provided and the patient response to facilitate the continuity of care and communicate to other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years rendering direct patient care in public or private institutions.
  • Clinical competencies must be current.
  • Possess a current and valid license issued by the California State Board of Vocational Nurses.
  • Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association Provider or American Red Cross (with AED).
  • Meet the minimum qualifications for Temporary/Relief LVNs, including proficiency in the English language and ability to communicate effectively.

Salary Range

$30 - $54 /HR
