Southcoast Health is seeking a talented Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality, patient-centered care in the field of psychiatry.
About the Role:
- Perform diversified consultation-liaison and emergency department psychiatry services as directed, and in support of Southcoast Department of Psychiatry and Southcoast Physician Group.
- Provide weekend coverage in rotation with other Departmental clinicians as directed.
- Participate in quality improvement endeavors as indicated, and assure adequate, timely, appropriate medical record documentation and billing.
Requirements:
- Experience in adult behavioral health population, appreciating specific interest or experience in Substance Use Disorders and/or Geriatrics.
- Demonstrated standards of excellence, respect, communication, courtesy, enthusiasm, initiative and teamwork with the ability to develop complex patient management recommendations in consultation with attending Psychiatrist.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience required.
