Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately measures and prepares ingredients following Ojos Locos recipe standards.
  • Washes and peels ingredients to ensure readiness for various meals.
  • Cuts and portions different types of meat according to specified guidelines.
  • Monitors ingredient quantities to maintain adequate stock for daily and weekly needs.
  • Stores ingredients in designated containers to ensure optimal preservation.
  • Communicates with supervisors regarding low ingredient stock or malfunctioning kitchen tools.
  • Cleans and sanitizes work surfaces, tools, utensils, and the overall work area.
  • Carefully monitors food temperatures and cooling room conditions to ensure proper ingredient storage.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Preferred High School Diploma with the flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
Essential Skills and Requirements

• Valid food handler certificate is mandatory.

• Proficient communication skills in both English and Spanish are essential.
