Job Title: Lead Teacher

At Princeton Childcare Learning Academy, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive teaching program, coordinating curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement educational curriculum aligned with developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
  • Lead by example, encouraging teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
  • Plan individual and group activities to promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children.
  • Maintain open communication with parents through regular updates, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with center policies and state regulations.
  • Maintain a healthy and safe classroom environment, adhering to hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Supervise teacher assistants and volunteers to ensure they follow planned activities and safety standards.
  • Manage accurate records, forms, and files.
  • Develop and maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, basic computer skills, and high energy.
  • Strong understanding of child development, excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • CDA or Degree.
  • Must clear full background check and pass health screening.
