Amergis is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technician to join our team. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and arrange surgical equipment and instruments for use during procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations, providing essential support and maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per state and/or client requirement.
  • One year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred.
  • Degree in biology-related field, including a degree/certification as a Surgical Technologist, preferred.
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
  • Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable.
  • Current CPR certification if applicable.
  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable.
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site.
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
