Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating head or body X-ray scanners to create computer-generated cross-sectional images, commonly called CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures accurately and proficiently, adhering to protocols and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of computer language and cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Practice proper sterile technique and adhere to infection control guidelines.
  • Interact efficiently, professionally, and courteously with all contacts.
  • Draw up requested medication/contrast media and accurately record the administered amount and time as per the physician's orders.
  • Administer contrast media under the direction of a physician, recognizing signs of contrast reaction and responding with appropriate action.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology Technologist is required.
  • Experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and work under stressful situations is required.
Licensure and Certifications
  • Florida CRT Radiology license is required.
  • ARRT is required.
  • ARRT (CT) is required.
  • BLS certification is required.
