Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our doctors and nurses to ensure the best possible outcomes. If you're passionate about animals, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Triage patients and assess their medical needs
  • Record vital signs and assist doctors with diagnostics
  • Complete treatments as instructed by the doctor
  • Provide basic husbandry and nursing care
  • Monitor patient changes and provide compassionate care
  • Perform blood draws, place catheters, and assist with radiography
  • Prepare samples for outside reference labs and run in-house labs
  • Administer medications and prepare treatments
Requirements
  • Comfortable with computers and online tools
  • Strong enough to lift 50 lbs
  • Thoughtful and fearless team player
