Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

The Market Medical Director is responsible for implementing market-level clinical care standards and practice guidelines, ensuring compliance with nationally accepted quality standards. This role requires a strong clinical background in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with experience in managed care medical review and medical directorship.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical consultation and training to staff
- Participate in Interdisciplinary Care Team meetings and Inpatient Census Rounds
- Support market provider network development and maintenance
- Lead direct reports to achieve market goals
- Provide education and training to providers
- Participate in peer-to-peer discussions and market-level quality initiatives
- Collaborate with the VP, Clinical Operations to identify utilization management and care management trends
- Perform other job duties as requested
- Completion of an accredited Medical Degree program
- Successful completion of a residency training program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Minimum of five years of clinical practice experience
- Managed care medical review/medical director experience preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act in the company's best interest
General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. May be required to work evenings/weekends and travel to fulfill duties of position.
Compensation:Salary range: $156,000.00 - $2,080,000.00 per year. CareSource offers a comprehensive total rewards package, including a substantial salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
