Position Overview

MaineHealth Waldo Hospital is actively seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to become a vital member of the Surgical Associates team. This full-time role involves providing care to patients in both the outpatient surgical clinic and the operating room.

We are looking for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners who thrive in a dynamic environment, addressing a variety of medical conditions as part of a collaborative, patient-focused team. The selected candidates will work closely with our surgical teams, which include General Surgeons, Anesthesia Specialists, Orthopedic Surgeons, and ENT Providers. The ideal applicant will be responsible for conducting consultations in the clinic and assisting with surgical procedures in the operating room.

  • Licensure/Certification: Current Maine NP or PA License and DEA registration.
  • Experience: Prior experience in the operating room is essential.
  • Preferred: A minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP or PA.
