Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer service and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on electric overhead traveling cranes.
  • Engage with clients to address repair and safety concerns.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and breakdowns.
  • Identify sales opportunities during service visits.
  • Document service activities accurately and thoroughly.
  • Handle new crane wiring, assembly, installation, and commissioning.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed; a company vehicle will be provided.

Required Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of AC/DC electrical theory and the ability to troubleshoot 480VAC three-phase motor control systems. An associate degree or equivalent vocational training is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical maintenance.
  • Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical systems, with familiarity in related equipment.
  • Availability for overtime work.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background check.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Commitment to safety practices.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives and PLC programming is advantageous.
  • Prior crane maintenance experience is a plus.

Work Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts.
  • Monday through Friday.
  • On-call or overtime may be required.
