Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on electric overhead traveling cranes.
- Engage with clients to address repair and safety concerns.
- Diagnose equipment failures and breakdowns.
- Identify sales opportunities during service visits.
- Document service activities accurately and thoroughly.
- Handle new crane wiring, assembly, installation, and commissioning.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed; a company vehicle will be provided.
Required Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of AC/DC electrical theory and the ability to troubleshoot 480VAC three-phase motor control systems. An associate degree or equivalent vocational training is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical maintenance.
- Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical systems, with familiarity in related equipment.
- Availability for overtime work.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of a drug screening and background check.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Commitment to safety practices.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives and PLC programming is advantageous.
- Prior crane maintenance experience is a plus.
Work Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts.
- Monday through Friday.
- On-call or overtime may be required.
