Novant Health is seeking a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RRT) to join our team at Kernersville Medical Center.
About the RoleThe Registered Respiratory Therapist II serves as an integral member of the healthcare team, establishing a personalized relationship with patients and their support systems. Collaborating with physicians and other team members, the RRT II assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized respiratory plans of care that promote optimal health or a comforting peaceful death.
Responsibilities- Assess and plan individualized respiratory care for patients
- Implement and evaluate respiratory plans of care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Current RCP licensure in the appropriate state
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-Year Associate Degree
- Preferred: 4-Year Bachelor's Degree
