Join Our Team as a Special Needs Educational Assistant

Position Overview:

We are actively seeking dedicated individuals for various roles, including short-term, long-term, part-time, and full-time positions to support K-12 students in special education.

As a Special Needs Educational Assistant, you will play a crucial role in aiding the classroom teacher by working closely with individual students and small groups to reinforce educational content.

This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children with special needs, contributing positively to their growth and development. Enjoy a competitive hourly wage ranging from $19 to $22, with weekly payments. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with hours typically from 7:00/7:30 AM to 3:00/4:30 PM, and no weekend work required. This role is designed for the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering educational content.
  • Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learned material.
  • Help in organizing classroom communications.
  • Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Utilize diverse teaching methods to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Provide support with personal care, including toileting as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • ParaPro Certification or similar credentials.
