Dermatology Specialist

At LovelySkin, we're seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our esteemed team at Schlessinger MD. As a key member of our clinical staff, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside our double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon, Dr. Joel Schlessinger, to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to cutting-edge research.

• Collaborate with Dr. Schlessinger and team to develop a deep understanding of our clinical practices and protocols.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations, in alignment with Dr. Schlessinger's patient schedule.
• Shadow and perform minor surgical procedures, such as excisions, cyst removals, and wart treatments, as well as certain laser procedures.
• Provide a positive patient experience through empathy, active listening, and clear communication.
• Contribute to ongoing assessments as part of clinical protocols in our Schlessinger MD Skin Research Center.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMR) for all patient interactions, assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in dermatology.
• Adhere to all practice policies, protocols, and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in a rotation for on-call related calls for off-hour patient inquiries.

• Current state Physician Assistant license
• NCCPA certification
• DEA certification
• Strong interest in dermatology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
