Job Summary

Hood River Distillers is seeking a skilled Plant Line Mechanic to join our maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair production machinery and equipment faults and failures
  • Maintain the plant facility and plant facilities' systems on a daily basis
  • Cooperate closely with other employees to ensure all goals are met
  • Troubleshoot and repair filling, capping, weighing, coding, case packing, palletizing, and labeling equipment
  • Ensure all production equipment is properly maintained in a state of operational readiness
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with production lead personnel and management
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance to equipment, facilities, and facilities' systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • A minimum of three years working as a line mechanic
  • Ability and initiative to perform duties and responsibilities on his/her own without direct supervision and motivation
  • Ability to multi-task is essential
  • Leadership experience and/or technical training in mechanics is preferred
  • Must pass with proficiency the Industrial Mechanic Aptitude test and Light Industrial Safety test
  • Must possess ability to become forklift certified if necessary
  • Must possess a current driver's license
