Bus Monitor

Sweet Home School is seeking a highly motivated and responsible Bus Monitor to join our team. As a Bus Monitor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students during transportation activities.

• Monitor and assist students in transportation activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Direct students into safe learning activities and functions, and assist in shaping appropriate social behaviors.
• Assist in managing student behavior through the use of positive strategies and techniques.
• Administer routine first aid and request assistance for non-routine injury or illness.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship with fellow staff members, students, and the general public.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and a second language, as required by the assignment.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with children and adults.

This is a part-time position, approximately 4 hours per day. The Bus Monitor will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with students, staff, and the general public.
