Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. is seeking an Independent Optometrist to lease space inside our stores and provide eye and vision care services to patients. As an independent lease holder, you will have the autonomy to establish your own schedule, set your own fees, and manage your own practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide eye and vision care services to patients in a retail setting
  • Establish your own schedule and hours of operation
  • Set your own fees and manage your own patient schedule
  • Have access to equipment and instrumentation for a fair market value
  • Option to opt into administrative and/or Opt-Tech support services (if state allows)

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
  • Valid state optometry license
  • Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school (optional)
  • Valid state ophthalmology license (optional)
  • General Liability Certificate
  • Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
  • W-9
