Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to support security and information assurance activities for a government agency. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in computer network security and information assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security measures to protect computer networks and information systems.
  • Ensure the implementation of appropriate security controls to safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.
  • Respond to and investigate computer security breaches and viruses.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in information and cyber security, with a strong background in security protocols and procedures.
  • CISSP certification and experience with ACAS, HBSS, RMF, and CMRS.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Knowledge of DoD and Army A&A requirements and processes, including RMF and eMASS.
  • Experience with DISA STIGs and application of security controls.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • US citizenship and current Secret clearance.
