Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our Private Client Services (PCS) practice in New York. The ideal candidate will oversee multiple client engagements, demonstrate expertise in tax preparation and research, and possess strong leadership skills to foster professional growth among team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • BUILD IMPACTFUL RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS AND MAINTAIN STRONG COMMUNICATION WITH FIRM LEADERSHIP.
  • Cultivate expertise in specialized areas and impart knowledge to associates and seniors.
  • Develop and maintain accurate time and billing records for self and team members.
  • Take responsibility for training, supervising, and ongoing development of associates and seniors.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and apply new knowledge to client engagements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent field required.
  • 6+ years of recent tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or public/corporate mix.
  • CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Taxation or relevant field.
  • Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software.
  • Working knowledge of the production/entertainment industry.
