Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled drafting technician with experience using AutoCAD and Revit in the architectural and/or structural consulting industry. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing structural design drawings, performing site field work, and working directly with design engineers and clients to develop a workable and constructible construction package.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare structural design drawings (plans and details) for building projects.
  • Perform site field work to gather data and information.
  • Work directly with design engineers to develop a workable and constructible construction package.
  • Collaborate with clients to coordinate client standards on drawings.
  • Foster and mentor cooperative education and internship students learning AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings for building projects.
  • A minimum of an Associate Degree or Technical Certificate in Computer Aided Design (CAD).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu is highly valued.
  • US citizenship and a valid US driver's license is required.
