Job Summary

Rochester Electronics is seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician II to support our electromechanical process equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for routine preventive maintenance, calibrations, and repairs of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work from technical manuals, schematics, and written instructions to troubleshoot and repair equipment as required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to resolve complex equipment issues and document corrective actions.
  • Determine required equipment preventative maintenance and calibration procedures and write specifications.
  • Identify and implement equipment modifications to improve performance and reliability.
  • Work with Engineering and facilities to bring new equipment online.
  • Perform job duties with emphasis on safety and housekeeping.
  • May serve as a member on cross-functional project teams.
Requirements
  • ASEE degree in Electronics/Electro or equivalent experience.
  • Prior equipment support experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with basic hand tools and meters.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite.
  • Able to adapt to changing needs of a high-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills, as well as sharp attention to detail.
