Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant Health. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work in a dynamic educational setting, collaborating with educators and parents to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in school-aged children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Therapy Sessions: Provide high-quality therapy sessions to students, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote effective communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' needs and ensure seamless communication.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans.
  • IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to student education plans.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Licensure: Maryland state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
