Key Responsibilities:- Advise employers on a wide range of employment law issues, including wage/hour matters, terminations, reductions in force, leaves of absence, and worker classification assessments.
- Prepare or review employment agreements and policies, including offer letters, handbooks, compensation plans, and separation agreements.
- Assist in preparing or reviewing employment-related documents, such as employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct research and analysis on employment law issues, including California state and local employment laws.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement employment law strategies for clients.
- Minimum of two years of experience in employment law, particularly in advising employers on employment law issues.
- Strong litigation skills with experience in both single plaintiff and complex cases.
- Proficient in employment law, especially California state and local employment laws.
- Business-minded problem-solving skills.
- Strong academic background and California bar membership.
- A comprehensive benefit program, including healthcare, life insurance, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, and wellbeing programs.
- A competitive salary range of $235,000 - $310,000, depending on qualifications, years of experience, education, certifications, professional licenses, and job location.
- A discretionary performance-based bonus for eligible employees.
